Many people think braces are only for kids. But a lot of adults suffer from crooked teeth or tooth gaps. So is it all too late and the dream of a beautiful smile is lost forever?
If you look at Hollywood Celebrities and Social Media Influencers you might even think that you are the only person in the world with ugly teeth. But only a small percentage of humans have perfect aligned teeth by default. So where do all these tooth-paste-commercial-smiles come from? Braces!
And there is no special age or time when it becomes impossible to use braces (as long as you are no granny without any teeth left).
For children it´s easy you would say, wouldn´t you? They can get the removable braces or the ugly ones with shiny brackets and wires. But what many people don´t know: teeth are always moving. There is no guarantee that your teeth correction from the childhood remains forever.
Many adults face a second treatment in their life. And for adults the dentits will choose wire-and-brackets-braces in many cases. If you don´t want them to be visible you can even have them placed on the back of your teeth. Or you ask you orthodontist for clear aligners — these almost invisible braces made from plastics.
So it´s not to late to get a teeth correction at the age of 35. And there is no perfect timing for that. You decide. Whenever you are ready you will find a treatment that suits you. As long as you have teeth, though. :-D
